Google is now planning to release the new version of their Chromebook, Google Chromebook Pixel 3, as said by the Android Police Reports. This is developed as a successor to their 2015 Chromebook pixel 2 which is their first laptop in two years.
With the introducing of Google Chromebooks it managed to beat out the market of iPad. The reason is Chromebooks were considerably cheaper than full-sized iPad and the popular market was the schools. But in business sector it is not embarrassed much. It generally has a little internal storage and can’t run desktop version of Microsoft office where most workplaces are using.
This would start at about $799, have a 12.3 inch high-resolution display and would have a 32 GB or 128 GB storage. Its RAM may about 8 GB or 16 GB. The major difference is that the Chromebook may run on chrome OS. Rumours regarding these Chromebooks indicate that this would be a 2-in-1 capable of being used as a laptop or a tablet. Also it is said that this has a fully-rotatable (360 degree) screen and Wacom stylus support.
Reports says that Google is attempting to improve the software part of the equation to make big companies to buy more Chromebooks. Very recently Google has got third-party hardware makers to develop non laptop chrome OS device. The Apple is also partnered with Cisco, Deloitte, IBM and SAP to get iOS devices into enterprises. And now both Apple and Google is competing to displace Windows in the enterprise.
In order to make Chromebooks more versatile, Google is now planning steps to bring the Google Play Store to Chromebooks. That may lead to open the door to get millions of Android apps to work on Chromebooks. The Play Store now runs on more than 25 Chromebooks. So the company administrator can restrict or allow to be run on Chrome OS.
With all new features, Google Chromebook Pixel 3 will be released soon along with the Google’s Pixel 2 smartphone in latter part of this year. So just await to make Google Chromebook pixel 3, the only laptop you buy in your lifetime.
