With the Pixel 3 launch events around the globe ahead, Google has released a (very cute) video on the Google Japan YouTube channel. Japan being one of the launch locations. The special thing about the teaser video is the appearance of the Active Edge feature, which we first came across through Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Pixel 2’s Active Edge was a feature that let you do such things like triggering Google Assistant and silencing an incoming call by ‘squeezing’ the frame of the device. This was first debuted by HTC through their smartphone U11, by the name of ‘Edge Sense.’

Even though the focus is on the Active Edge feature, rumor has it that the video also hints at the color variants of the device–black, white, green and pink–colors that make constant appearances throughout the video.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is set to be launched in a several locations around the world on 9th October and for Japan, this is going to be a first-time for them.

Watch the video down below. (and if you do, you are gonna find a little G-Dragon doppelgänger in there too!)
