Are you smart watch lover? If so, this articles is especially for you! Samsung and Fossil have announced their latest smart watches last week. In 2015 smart watches were of course exciting. Yet, in 2019 smart watches continue to grow. Strategy analysis shows some numbers as with shipment increasing 44% over and over again in Q2 from 8.6 million to 12.3 million.

It becomes less rosy when we consider Apple because Apple watch is 5.7 million in Q2 numbers that 46% slightly 44% from previous. The numbers were reflected in Apple’s last earnings. However, when considering Apple products, wearable products are a bright spot in the industry than hardware products.

Samsung and Fossils both announced smart watches on last Monday. Both of them had ECG sensors that match Apple 4. The Galaxy Watch Active2, Samsung’s latest smart watch is in two sizes(44mm and 40mm) and two styles (Aluminium, Steel) in LTE and non LTE options.

As per reports, the starting prices of those watches were mentioned as $279.99(40mm) and $299.99 (44mm), which means the devices are $100 cheaper than Apple watch 4. They also support wireless charging and built in ECG sensors. The devices will be in-market from September 27th which has the pre-order facility starting from 6th.
