TensorFlow is an open source machine learning framework developed by google brain team in 2015. This machine learning library using data flow graphs to build models and easier to develop design, build and train deep learning models.

TensorFlow was supported lot of platforms such as iOS, Linux, Windows, MacOs and Android. Finally collaboration with Raspberry pi foundation, they now happily announced the python pip package is system, latest 1.9 release of TensorFlow can be installed pre-built binaries. If you are running Raspbian 9, you can install it by running these two commands from the terminal.

sudo apt install libatlas-base-dev

pip3 install Tensorflow

Now Raspberry pi board developrs can built their , projects use of the latest Tensorflow 1.9 features.

Eben Upton, the founder of the Raspberry Pi project, says, “It is vital that a modern computing education covers both fundamentals and forward-looking topics. With this in mind, we’re very excited to be working with Google to bring TensorFlow machine learning to the Raspberry Pi platform. We’re looking forward to seeing what fun applications kids (of all ages) create with it.”

The main objective of blending TensorFlow with the Raspberry Pi board is to let people explore the capabilities of machine learning on cost-effective and flexible devices.

There are more details on installing and troubleshooting TensorFlow on the Raspberry Pi on the TensorFlow website.
