Asus ZenPad Z10 tablet was launched in October month last year. It was an amazing production due to its specifications. According to Gsmarena web site, its key features are shown below. 

When it released, it had Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its running OS. After a year its company has decided to update OS version from Android 6.0 to Android 7.0; Nougat.

But at this moment, Nougat is not the latest OS version announced by Google for androids. Its Android 8.0; Oreo. So you don’t need worry about the OS version much. Still this ASUS ZenPad Z10 is performing like a beast with Marshmallow OS.

The new software update is armed with the new August 2017 security patch which brings more advantages for using this device. According to verizonwireless web site, update details are;

1. Multi-window mode

You can split the screen to view 2 apps at the same time with this mode. The image below shows the browser open in the top window and the Calendar app in the bottom

Double tap Overview (Recent Apps) to switch between the current app on your screen and your most recently used app. Double tap Overview again to go back to your original app.

Now you can easily change an app’s notification settings right from the notification panel.

You can edit and customize your quick settings as you want.

5. Improved settings navigation

There’s a new side panel for quick access to Settings, so you don’t need to hit the back key repeatedly. Just swipe left to right, anywhere in Settings.

6. More battery life

Doze mode has been enhanced to optimize your battery anytime your screen is off, even when you’re moving. Previously Doze mode was limited to times when your tablet was stationary.

7. Data Saver

Data Saver can help you manage your data usage by restricting background apps from using data. Even when Data saver is on, you can permit apps to use background data by tapping Unrestricted data access, and the specific app.
